Twilight- World of Anyaral

 Twilight, other than being a movie franchise, also applies to the name of the miniatures game, and a gorgeous one at that. Twilight The World of Anyaral is a delightful little wargame with adorable little lizard people. I got some minis from it years ago one Salute, and since have been messing with them on and off (and repainting them somewhat as I kept lacking that specific inspiration for a scheme).

Dusting them off since I moved house, I finally settled on a scheme I like for the Devanu, the outcast former masters of Anyaral and Giant Raptor People. So lets start putting some pictures of them up.

The Grishak were done with two coats of Aethermatic Blue, with Akhelian Green down the spine. The beaks and claws were done in skeleton horde, the mouths with Volupus Pink and the eyes with Iyanden Yellow. Finally they were drybrushed with Temple Guard Blue and Ushabti Bone.

The Devanu got a coat of Fyreslayer Flesh for the skin, and Gore Grunta Fur for the scale patches. The inside of the mouths were done in pink again, the clothing in Iyanden Yellow. Straps were done in Snakebite Leather, the metals in Bascilicanum Grey. The talons were all done in Black Templar.  The Alpha got Apothecary White with a white scars drybrush for the Fur clothes, the Handlers armour was done the same as the Grishak. The models got a drybrush of Ushabti, The eyes were all a dot of Talassar Blue.

Returning to wargaming with 15mm Five Parsecs

 Guess who is ostensibly back after what, three? Four? Years of not posting on here. A lot changed. I got super busy volunteering with a wargames store locally and even moved house. Said store is now closed while pending a hopeful move to a new location, and my new apartment has a good bit more floor space, which means hopefully more games. Specifically: Solo wargames!  I've already tried my hand at several solo journaling style RPGs, but next to try is my hand at Five Parsecs From Home. So, I've picked up a new table, sized it out to see what kind of space and terrain I'm working with (specifically in 15mm) and rolled up a crew. I'll be working in 15mm for two reasons. One; I'm still unemployed so 15mm is as ever a nice economic solution with still a lot of character (and I have a good few minis in that scale already).
